Become an Instructor with Maritime Medical Guides!
Maritime Medical Guides (MMG) is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization specializing in designing and facilitating maritime medical training programs. We are a division of Backcountry Medical Guides and have a dedicated group of instructors who strive to teach the highest quality and most relevant courses.
MMG courses are led by individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds and skill sets. Instructors are given online and in-person trainings to ensure that they go into courses feeling confident in the MMG approach to learning, teaching and having a good time. All Instructor positions are contract positions. We teach 1, 2, and 5-6 day courses that range from public to private to sponsored.

Instructor Opportunities
Maritime Medical Guides accepts rolling applications and is looking for local instructors of our courses. Courses primarily take place throughout California and Washington state. If you do not live in either of these states, we would still love to hear from you! Please know, opportunities outside of our primary states may be limited.

Hiring Process
Individuals interested in being considered for an instructor position are asked to fill out our application and send it and their resume to employment@backcountrymedicalguides.org. Strong candidates will be contacted to complete the next steps in our hiring process. These include an interview, providing 3 references and attending a program as a trainee.
